This was a two person group project where we met up with a co-designer(s) that were between the ages of three and nine years old. We then designed and built an interactive device for the child or children. We focused a lot on the engagement and the interaction that the children would have with the device.

Our design is a bridge-like structure that the children can build and customize to their own imagination through the use of bungee cords, wheels, and tracks. The base can be taken apart for storing(as seen on the next page). The bridge also has a built in cam clamp. This allows the user to attach it to different furniture and surfaces around their house and creates more opportunities for play. It is made from balsa wood for the main structure and beech wood for the cam clamp. We also incorporated blue and yellow bungee cord for elasticity, and we carried the colour through to the track holes.
